Bella Vista is a cozy cedar/rock cabin with private access to the Frio River. There is also a bunkhouse for overflow. Cabin & Bunkhouse rent together as one property for this rate.
It is surrounded by oak trees on three acres with steps & trail leading down to a river rock island & then clear shallow riverbed. Perfect wading for little ones and for relaxing in your chair with your feet in the water. Or sit in the water to cool off! Walk 50 yards up river to a deeper spot for swimming.
There is a quaint back porch deck in the trees with table, chairs, porch swing. The deck is great for relaxing, watching the sunset, wildlife & birds.
Pet Friendly Properties: Bella Vista, Water' Edge, Rivers Edge, Bluebird Hill, Star Suite, and Hideaway. Pet Rules:
Maximum of 2 dogs allowed, weighing 50 lbs or less each
Only well behaved, house-trained; Won't chew on furniture, rugs or scratch floors, walls, doors
Dogs allowed Inside Only when in their kennel/cage
Don't allow them on furniture or beds
Only leashed or tied when outside
Pickup & throw away poop
Do not allow dogs to dig in yard or flower beds
Dog owner responsible for dog's safety, and for any damages to lodging property
Don't allow dogs to bark excessively, run free, chase wildlife
Please pick up most of the dog hair from around the outside rugs, yard, patios, & inside

We stayed at the Bella Vista last June and fell in love with the cabin, river, land around the cabin. All beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is full furnished. Tv does have satellite and DVD/Blu-Ray player. The deck overlooks the river and is so beautiful and serene. The owners are amazing!! They gave us maps of fun stuff to do while in town. Also recommend the best places to eat and purchase groceries. My family is planning on coming back this year!

Myself, my children and grandchildren stayed at the Bella Vista on the fabulous Rio Frio river last summer and we are returning this June, because the kids(all us kids) can't think of a better spot to get together. The cleanest, coolest river in the state is a kids wonderland, and the hill country setting is spectacular. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, well furnished and attractive, located right above the river and surrounded by big oaks and cypress trees. LeAnn and Anthony Sharp are attentive and professional, so I can't think of a single problem unless you can't live without the Internet. If, however, you would like to escape the rat race for a few days, this is the spot for you.
